Not love books?!?!

I absolutely love this book, the little girl is by far one of my most favorite characters! Miss Brooks Loves Books (and I don't)  by Barbara Bottner is a most read for every librarian, teacher, and parent! I loved this book the first time I read it because I can relate to Miss Brooks. But the more I read it the more I fell in love with little girl who does not love books (that is who I am dressed as in the above picture). Her personality just shines in this book and you can't help but be her! All of my kindergarten children loved this book and the 1st grade class I read too for Read Across America. I will be reading this book for many years!!
