After reading Gingerbread Baby we wondered if the gingerbread baby stayed with Mattie, ran away or if Mattie ate the gingerbread baby. During the Storytelling Festival we read Gingerbread Friends by Jan Brett and found out what happened with Mattie and the gingerbread baby!
This week we read Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett in the gingerbread house. What fun, we had a cozy fire and Christmas tree complete with candy garland. The big question is what happened to the gingerbread baby, did he live with Mattie forever, did Mattie make him friends or did Mattie eat him? Next week we will find out so stay tuned!
We wrapped up our unit on Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship this week. We review our tips from Officer Buckle and read Arthur's Computer Disaster by Marc Brown.
