What a week in the library!!! We started the week off with a little holiday drama, Llama Llama Holiday Drama by Anna Dewdeny. One day even all the students had on pajamas, so Llama Llama fit right in wearing his red pajamas.
To wrap up all the holidrama...we finished up the week by finding out what happened to the Gingerbread Baby. We read Gingerbread Friends by Jan Brett and learned Mattie made him 15 friends. We had a Storytelling Festival and children visited the library, music room to sing Christmas songs, lunchroom to make a Christmas craft and gym to play reindeer games. What a fun day to end the week!

Another exciting week in the library. Can't believe the school year is half way over...we have so much more fun to come! This week we finally got to go inside the gingerbread house. What other book would we read than one about gingerbread, we read The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett. Wonder what happened to the gingerbread baby once Mattie got him home?
