Dr. Booklove visited the library this week and read What Happened to Marion's Book? by Brooke Berg. Marion did not take very good care of her library book and had to pay to replace the damaged book. Dr. Booklove taught us about taking care of library books. After the lesson students checked out their first library book to take home.

Library is AWESOME

What a great week we had in library! Of course, we had to learn the library rules but then we got to explore the library and play! The best part was meeting our library bat, Battyrella, and Ms. Millwood, wearing cool bat glasses,  read Bats at the Library by Brian Lies.

Nap time is the best time! We survived the first full week of kindergarten!!

This week we took a dive in the ocean! What better way than by reading Miss Smith Under the Ocean by Michael Garland. We love the Miss Smith books, thank you Mr. Garland for writing and illustrating such wonderful books.

Earth Day is April 22, please do your part and help our Earth. We revisited recycling and not littering and keeping our community clean. We made a bulletin board out of junk mail we collect at school for only one week!! We made four trees, only two are in the picture. Please recycle! Albertville has a great recycling center and now with recycling cans at your house and curb pick up it is easy as 1-2-3!!

Dino Days! What a fun week in the library, we learned all about dinosaurs. We learned about 'dino bone hunters' also know as Paleontologist, check out the video!

This week we wrapped up community helpers and had so much fun in the library. Be sure to read the book Clothesline Clues to Jobs People Do by Kathryn Heling and Deborah Hembrook.

WHAT A WACKY WONDERFUL WEEK!!

What other character can a librarian be but a 'Book Fairy'?!

Aggie Football players came to read to our school! Many players read to their former teachers!

Photo booth fun!

Our lovely lunchroom ladies served us Dr. Seuss birthday cup cakes!
